"Police officers routinely wear ski masks when out in public, or investigating crime scenes, to conceal their identities and protect the safety of their families." This makes it clear that even the police officers feel unsafe doing their job. They have to cover their faces so no one can recognize them and no harm will be done to their family members and loved ones. I think that its good that they are doing reports like this, so people can know whats going on around us. It isn't okay for "The cartels" to be killing so many people. I cant imagine how the people form Mexico specially the ones from Juarez feel every morning not feeling safe walking out of their house and going to work.
The picture that i chose as my favorite was the one with the officer wearing a mask over his face, has his gun in his hands, and has a lot of clothes to protect him. I think that this picture fits for background because it's background is blurry and he is the main focus. It can also fit for cropping because it only has his face and part of his upper body. I liked this picture because it has only one focus but it also shows how the police officers have to go to work so that no one would recognize who he is.
